2023 Nolan Ryan Foundation Dinner

I had the privilege of branding the Nolan Ryan Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Nolan Ryan Foundation Dinner & Auction. At this event, the foundation announced record-breaking donations and featured special guest David Robinson, so l knew that the creative pieces were integral to setting the tone of the event.

This night needed to feel elegant, classy, but most importantly, fun. After all, this event brought people together for a night of delicious food, good music, unique auction items, and a captivating speaker, all for a good cause.

On most of the print pieces, I layered cool, blue watercolor textures with bold, white text, contrasting with the mellowness of the background while complimenting the minimal color scheme. Pairing Futura with a thin, delicate script font created a beautiful contrast and allowed the typography to have a clear and intentional hierarchy.

I applied these methods when it came to designing the program, signage, presentation, table numbers, website, social graphics, and handouts in order for everything to feel cohesive. Each project I made contributed to the event being a truly unique, elegant, and charitable experience.
