Spike’s Book List

Partnered with the Round Rock Public Library, I wanted to create a simple yet fun animation of the Round Rock Express mascot, Spike, to guide you into his list of books.

Freeform Commercial Break Bumpers

For this project, I created a triad of animated Freeform television bumpers for the winter season. These include an intro, intermission, and outro to play in between commercial breaks during a movie.

Overall, I aimed to create minimal and playful animations that could enjoyed at any age. I kept a somewhat monochromatic color scheme for each video to differentiate their own theme, yet it unifies them in the sense that they all have the same landscape and movement style. By playing with the viewer’s field of view, the scenes contain depth which flows into a smooth transition of typography.
